Brides on the Beach

I went to a really great test shoot this weekend with the Females in Focus group. Two models (one a photographer, and the other a bride-to-be) came in bridal gowns and played on the beach with us! Many thanks to Gina DiConti for organizing it!

We lucked out with a beautiful day!

Christie and Maciej

I spent some time wandering the neighborhood for portraits with my friends Christie and Maciej this morning. It was a beautiful day!

There was lots of playing, biting, and squealing - I loved it!




Though I did manage a few more "normal" portraits as well.








Playing in alleys is always good fun.








I also did some individuals of each.








And their cats.... Gandalf and Helix have graced my blog in the past. We tried for a whole family shot with both the kitties - the cats were less than amused and didn't cooperate. But they both did manage to sit nicely in good light for me. Here's Gandalf perched atop an office chair.

Bearsville

Neal and I had a little trip to New York this past weekend for a friend's wedding (where I actually didn't shoot a single photo!). We stayed with my aunt and uncle in Bearsville and explored the area.

The stone of trolls - this was started years ago. A bunch of kids left some trolls on a rock, and people kept adding to it. The whole lot was stolen at some point, and after much press coverage on the crime, they were anonymously returned.

Violet turns 6

I made an appearance at my cousin's birthday party last weekend. It was a peacock party! Her friends came in peacock colors and they made cute little peacocks out of foam balls and feathers.
