Central Park engagement session with Tara and Andrew

We lucked out with a beautiful day for an engagement session at Central Park. Tara and Andrew were so much fun to work with! We spent some time just exploring the southern part of the park; I just love shooting there!

Yulia

For Yulia's shoot I had visions of exploring some gritty parts of Manhattan and also hitting the park near her house. But I woke up that morning to a super hot, humid, and gross day, so I decided against subjecting Yulia to that. It's important to be flexible! Instead, we shot just about everything in the comfortable air conditioning of her apartment.

The first thing I saw was this cool light fixture that I had to incorporate in a few images.






I did make Yulia stand in the hot sun for a tiny bit, as the skylight was allowing in a beautiful patch in the hallway.


Gorgeous! This was fun to get as I had to hang off the ladder you can see in the background on the image above.

Ceres

It's time for adorable Ceres once again! I just love all her expressions.

She wasn't quite sure what to make of me yet.
