Mom, Janna, and mini-dog Skye

A few final shots from Maine....

Out to dinner... we managed to convince mom it was good idea to venture into a sushi restaurant! Next step is to get her to actually try sushi :)

Nicole and Bob: engagement

Nicole and Bob were troopers to put up with the hot mid-day summer weather this weekend (ah, summer...). We found lots of great light throughout the Museum Campus. Enjoy!

The very first shot I took; look how cute they are!

Heather and James: engagement

I had a great time spending the afternoon with Heather and James. They like to play around and have fun with each other, which is always fun to photograph!

Sinna and others

Mom is in the process of training Sinna, who is now old enough to be ridden (4 years), so she took her out for a quick ride in the backyard for photos.

Sinna was doing well and mom didn't need the whip, so Neal was kind enough to hold it... and pose with it.

I loved the light coming through the mini-horse's mane, plus the random chicken walking through the scene.

Stormy the cat

A few photos of Stormy while he was napping on the couch.

I think he looks a little evil in this one. So cute :)

Ivan the cat on the sister's lap

Ivan loves sitting on laps. He doesn't seem to care what you're doing (reading, typing, eating, etc.) or notice/care if you'd rather not have a cat on your lap.

Portraits of kittens

The little foster kittens at my family's house are now big enough to be adopted! Janna has adopted the momma cat and one of the babies, and a college friend of my sister Becca has adopted two more of them. Becca requested a few photos to send up to the future owners, and Janna wanted some of her new little pets. The fourth one was brought back to the shelter and was adopted that same day. Many thanks to Becca and Janna, my cat wranglers.
