A trip to Ithaca

Over the summer I took a weekend and met up with my friend Mike in Ithaca, NY. We spent four wonderful years there for college, and it was time to return.

A trip to Buttermilk Falls was in order

Our trip to the falls was cut short with the massive rain storm. But it made for a cool photo!

I was in a portrait mood that weekend, so Mike got to play subject.

He wasn't always thrilled by this.

We wandered through the halls at our alma mater (Ithaca College) and came upon this fabulous skylight.

A day in Ithaca

I took a day trip to Ithaca after flying into Syracuse for my sister's senior recital (more on that trip later), and lucked out with a beautiful day! I explored the downtown area, and wandered around the campus of Ithaca College, my alma mater.

I took a stroll through one of the parks

Mmm... yummy

After an hour or two of exploring, I decided to shoot the rest of the day with only my lensbaby. So I focused on the abstract designs, colors, and patterns.

Really, what's a trip to a college campus without seeing at least one car wrapped in saran wrap?
