Damn Yankees!

I was up in the lovely town of Houlton, Maine last month for the opening of Houlton High School's musical, Damn Yankees. To students and parents of HHS: keep an eye out at school for a collage poster with lots more images from opening weekend.

There was lots of excitement in the final moments before the curtain went up!

Director extraordinaire, Ms. DeWan!

Houlton goes to NYC: slideshow

The final slideshow from the adventures in NYC with Houlton High School is complete! I spent an amazing three days with my sister and 130 music students. Click here to watch the slideshow. Warning! It's 15 minutes long, so it takes a while to load. Please be patient.

For the parents and students, there are now order forms available to purchase this slideshow on DVD and the group photo taken at the Statue of Liberty. Visit the music home page for info.
Also, the whole batch of photos taken throughout the weekend are available for purchase here.

Houlton goes to NYC: day 3

The final day with the music students of Houlton High School! We lucked out with a spectacular day for a ferry ride to visit the Statue of Liberty.

I had been wondering how long it would take for this to happen

Getting closer!

I grabbed small groups of people while wandering around the statue. Squished family portrait!

The three great teachers of the trip! Mr. Fagnant, Ms. DeWan, and Mr. Mania
