I had a great portrait session Monday with Martha Larson, a jazz cellist. She was so much fun to photograph and full of ideas! Her band, the Uptown Strings, arrived later for some group portraits. Thanks to all for a great afternoon!
This wedding was so much fun! It was my first time shooting with my friend Kelly Cubbin, and I'm really looking forward to our next weddings. We started at the Assumption Catholic Church downtown, then headed to the Ridgemoor Country Club on the northwest side.
I came across a fabulous (some might say ugly) retro room in the back of the church.
Little kids crack me up
I love long pretty veils and wind.
These two (brother and sister) were chasing each other during the portrait session.
This wedding guest insisted on a picture with Kelly.
I spent Mother's Day this year with my grandma, aunt, uncle, and two cousins. My little cousins Violet and Seamus are both so adorable and love the camera!
I second-shot with my friend Ana Miyares a copule weeks ago, which is always a good time. I was so excited to be able to finally shoot in the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave in Chicago. It's so beautiful!
I came across this set of images from my Christmas trip back home to Maine. I saw one of my college roommates, Shelby, her husband Frank, and finally met their little son, Brett! What cute little boy!
I had the privilege of cat sitting while my friends Christie and Maciej were on vacation last week. Naturally I had to do a photo shoot of the little critters.
