Family Picnic
While my parents were visiting we had a fantastic picnic at my aunt and uncle's house.

Exploring Chicago
My parents flew in from Maine last month for a week-long stay. Visits like this always give me a great excuse for exploring this fabulous city!

I had a blast shooting with Jill Wijangco at the Chicago Botanic Garden for Kelly and Gabe's wedding. Everything was beautifully planned and executed; so many wonderful details.

Lindsay and Steve had a very sweet ceremony in Hinsdale, then off to her mom's house for the fabulous reception!

Kristin and Matt
I headed out to Elmhurst College for Kristin and Matt's wedding; a really great location! The chapel was easy to shoot in and there was tons of green space for portraits.

Amy and Jeff
A fantastic wedding day! I worked with Johnny Borter on Amy and Jeff's wedding; they're a great couple and I had a blast with everyone the whole day.
Caitlin the flower girl was fascinated by all the prep work and portraits through the day.
Amy's gorgeous dress.
The light in this house was so beautiful.
Being with Amy right before the ceremony was priceless; she was so excited!
Amy's relationship with her family is obviously amazing: a moment shared with her mom moments before the ceremony.
...and with her dad.
Caitlin had such serious expressions all day that made for classic portraits.

A new experience for me: I was in the restroom when all these ladies requested a photo in front of the stalls. I loved it!
