For Yulia's shoot I had visions of exploring some gritty parts of Manhattan and also hitting the park near her house. But I woke up that morning to a super hot, humid, and gross day, so I decided against subjecting Yulia to that. It's important to be flexible! Instead, we shot just about everything in the comfortable air conditioning of her apartment.
The first thing I saw was this cool light fixture that I had to incorporate in a few images.
I did make Yulia stand in the hot sun for a tiny bit, as the skylight was allowing in a beautiful patch in the hallway.
Gorgeous! This was fun to get as I had to hang off the ladder you can see in the background on the image above.
