Earlier this summer I spent a beautiful afternoon at Governor's Island for the annual Jazz Age Lawn Festival. It's a fun-filled festival of music, 20s-inspired clothing, dancing, food, and exploring the adorable island.
One of the younger patrons enjoying the day (and her parasol)
There was a parade of hats, where everyone was invited to prance around the dance floor to show off their head pieces.
Loved the old twin reflex camera! I still have one myself, but haven't taken it out in years.
Voon and his parasol. I loved his expression, even if it is a tad blurry...
Don Spiro, fellow dancer and photographer. I can't decide if this photo portrays him as evil or purely adorable. But I love it, just the same.
Voon brought along this fabulous suitcase as well as his parasol
