Neal and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Maine, where among other events, we were able to see my good friend Hilary. Hil and I became close friends in high school where we sang in choruses and played field hockey together. I had the opportunity to see some of her latest projects: homemade bags from silkscreen prints that she makes. Check them out!

Photos on the porch
I recently attended the wedding of my friends Ron and Lisa. I had my camera put away for most of the evening, but I was intrigued by the light on the porch at the reception.

Heather and Chris: engagement
I met up with Heather and Chris a few weeks back down at the Shedd Aquarium for some fun portraits of the two of them. They drove in from Indiana through the "lovely" Chicago summer traffic... but I'm glad they did! I decided to show all these in black and white instead of my usual mix of color and neutral.

Portraits of Becca
My sister Becca came to visit earlier this month, and I finally have photos of her ready! We did quite a bit of walking throughout the city, with many breaks along the way for photo shoots.
