We went swing dancing in Pasadena Friday evening at a really awesome outdoor venue with a live band.

Sunday we met up with my childhood friend Jen and her husband James. It had been four years since I had seen her, so it was great to catch up. This was also when I got a really nasty sunburn. Ouch.

We ventured to Hollywood since we were in the area. This is a shot of people photographing screaming fans who were vying for Emma Watson's autograph. The premier for the Harry Potter movie was occurring and we saw a tiny (very tiny) glimpse of her.
Our final adventure for the weekend was to search out an In-N-Out burger joint. We both had been told we had to try it since we'll be in LA. Naturally we passed tons of them until we actually wanted to have dinner. We probably spent a good hour driving up and down streets we thought were good candidates for housing the place. We finally had to call a friend back home to look up a location for us (yay Google Maps!).
