I brought Janna and Holmes into the studio I used to work at to use their awesome space.
Janna's dreads are cool.
She could hurt someone with those.
This photo concept was all Holmes.
And we expanded on it
I can see this one as a CD cover for a band.
Janna and Holmes are both incredible artists and are taking a mask making class this semester.
I handed the camera over to Holmes to get some sister shots. Can you tell who is older? :)

A sisterly visit: around town
A sisterly visit: cousins
More from my sister's visit! As a recap, my sister Janna and her boyfriend Holmes were visiting from Syracuse for their spring break. Among our many adventures, we visited our cute little cousins.
Their cat, Vanya, came out to be social for a short bit before scurrying back to the basement.
Seamus clenching on to mom, pretending to be shy.
...which of course he is not.
Janna playing ball with Seamus
Holmes likes having his head scratched.
Seamus in a serious moment
Violet was not pleased with my presence while she was creating another masterpiece.
It was puppet day for Violet and Seamus
Violet interacting with the puppet
I dragged Janna outside into the pretty light for a tiny shoot of her dreadlocks.

Annie returns
It's time for another Annie the cat post! I cat-sat this cute little critter last month again.
She was enjoying hiding behind a door and peeping out at me.
...and also just trying to swat at me
There was awesome light coming into the house.
And Annie just happened to jump right in for some silhouette fun.

A DC post
Yet another find of old photos I never did anything with... this batch from my DC trip last fall. I was shooting Joanna and Matt's wedding downtown and wandered around before I started for the day.
For some reason I was fascinated with this tie that was lying on the wet sidewalk.
Union Station is so pretty! This was taken before I was kicked out (silly no-photo rules...).
Another Union Station view
I also visited my good friends Jeni and Nik. I didn't take too many photos of them, but they had a very cool spider on their back porch.
Oooo.... pretty. Sorry to anyone who's squeemish around spiders.
What would a blog post be without a cat photo?
