The thing that most stood out for me from Vanessa and Matt's wedding was the family relationships. Vanessa's parents are divorced and each remarried, but I had a hard time remembering which were her parents and which were her step-parents because all four of them were together talking and laughing all afternoon and evening. Stories of being welcomed right into the family were told by Matt's brother, and it was really evident from all the interactions between both families. Congratulations Matt and Vanessa!
I arrived at the church before any of the wedding party, so I used that time to explore the grounds. I was intrigued by the texture of this cool door handle.
The cross looking out from the second story.
I loved the details of Vanessa's dress!
Could you ask for a more adorable bride?
I dragged Vanessa and her girls down into the basement for the nice light; they were a bit skeptical but I think it was worth it!
How could I resist this cute little guy with the awesome hat?!
Stunning flowers!
A serious moment from the couple...
...which didn't last long. They were so cute!
These red chairs were calling to me. Lucky for me the rain had stopped and the chairs were already dry.
Vanessa's expressions were priceless during the toasts.
A slightly different take on the first dance
The dancing was amazing! The energy, style, movement: fantastic! I really wanted to put down my camera and join the crowd with the (very) little salsa I know. The colors from the DJ booth really added to the energetic mood.
The flower girl was having a blast being thrown over shoulders.
She landed safely.
